Petzl presents its new products for 2016

On June 5, 2015, PETZL hosted the presentation of its new products for 2016. There were plenty of futuristic innovations in the sector of overhead working and sport in general, and the infinite options for their use and application were widely demonstrated throughout the day. A large number of companies attended the event, organised in association with SAI Società Antinfortunistica Industriale of Rogno (Bergamo, Italy).
A special thank you to PETZL, who chose the Safety Training Tower Training Ground as the location for their event.

World Day for Health and Safety at Work

The topic chosen for this year's World Day for Health and Safety at Work is "Safety and health in the use of chemicals at work". Chemicals are fundamental in modern life and will continue to be produced and used in workplaces. Concerted action by governments, employers, workers and their organisations can promote the rational management of chemicals and achieve the proper balance between the benefits of chemicals and measures to prevent and control their undesirable effects on workers, the public and the environment.

Harken Italia visits STT

Technical tests for Harken products at our Training Ground! On January 27, we had the pleasure of hosting Harken Italy, a producer of overhead working safety products with many years experience in the maritime industry. They had fun giving us a practical demonstration of their leading products, especially the winch and power seat for the aerial transport of unconscious suspended persons. A really interesting day!
